Business English

This course focuses on English fluency for professionals. Students will learn career-oriented skills, and how to communicate effectively in the workplace. Topics include negotiating, networking, and managing meetings. Writing effective business correspondence, public speaking and oral presentations challenge students to exceed even their own expectations.

The Business English course is perfect for working students who want to communicate more effectively at work with their co-workers, employers and advance their careers. This course is also ideal for students with an interest or background in commerce. The Business English course takes a practical approach to workplace communication and focuses on language and skills for professional success.

Students will learn vocabulary and techniques that will prepare them for a native English workplace. Through activities and exercises, students will expand their knowledge and abilities and develop confidence necessary to succeed at work. Business English focuses on vocabulary, idioms, grammar-specific to business relations, business writing, case studies with dynamic topics and innovative approaches to language learning.

English Testing

Students are tested using the Business English Communication Exam (BEC) every fourth week. This allows teachers and students to track their success and measure their ongoing improvement. This exam is internationally recognized and accepted globally by top international companies.

Level Placement

Students take a placement test on their first day to determine their English level.

Students tested at level 9 or below are placed in General English.
