CELPIP Preparation

Under the guidance of ILAC’s expert teachers, this program will help students gain the skills, confidence and techniques needed to take the CELPIP General exam and achieve their desired score. The CELPIP Preparation course provides students with the skills, knowledge and practice necessary to succeed in the CELPIP Canadian English Language Test.

CELPIP is a four-skill (listening, reading, writing, and speaking) computer-based, English language proficiency test. The CELPIP General test is recognized by Citizenship and Immigration Canada as proof of English language skills for permanent resident status in Canada. Equally important, The CELPIP-General Test was developed exclusively based on Canadian English. This course is highly relevant and will invariably benefit any individual wishing to advance their English fluency in order to improve their life in Canada.

English Testing

Students write practice CELPIP tests every week to measure their progress. By tracking their success, students will know when they are ready to take the official IELTS exam.

Duration

  • Each English level is 4-8 weeks

Level Placement

Students take a placement test on their first day to determine their English level.

Students tested at level 9 or below are placed in General English.

Students who test at level 10 or above will choose an advanced level course.
